WhatsApp Audio To Text
Generate a readable transcript beside a supported WhatsApp voice message while keeping the original audio available for review.
A focused product for clearer conversations
WAAudioToText turns WhatsApp voice messages into readable transcripts, helps translate what was said, and gives people a clearer path from conversation to action.
Why we built it
Voice messages are quick to send, but they are not always easy to use. A quiet place may not be available, a long recording takes time to replay, and a different language can hide names, quantities, dates or next steps.
We built WAAudioToText so people can read first, verify details, translate when needed and continue the conversation without moving work into a separate tool.
What we build
Each capability supports the same job: helping users turn voice and chat context into information they can understand and act on.
01
Generate a readable transcript beside a supported WhatsApp voice message while keeping the original audio available for review.
02
Translate the generated transcript into a familiar language and compare it with the original-language text before responding.
03
Summarize supported recent text messages into key context and next actions. This is a separate workflow from audio transcription.
Product principles
Transcription, translation and context should appear where they help users understand the current conversation.
Processing runs when a user triggers or enables the relevant capability, with settings that reflect different conversations.
We distinguish audio transcription from AI message summaries and avoid claims the released product cannot support.
Product work starts with repeatable user needs such as reviewing long voice notes, foreign-language audio and important details.
How the product evolves
WAAudioToText evolves through a deliberately compact loop that keeps product behavior and public guidance aligned.
We look for recurring obstacles in voice transcription, translation and conversation review rather than chasing isolated requests.
Ideas are checked against the current extension, WhatsApp Web behavior and the practical limits of the underlying services.
Released capabilities, help content and support explanations are updated together so users know what to expect.
